Local Author’s New Book Ranks In Top One Percent
A new book by local author John Crossman is out to help young professionals, especially millennials, avoid some common pitfalls that can cause a promising career to crash and burn; and how to make better choices to thrive in their career. Crossman, chief executive officer of Crossman & Company, reports that his book is now ranking among the top one percent in its category at Amazon.com. Crossman, who released Career Killers / Career Builders on April 7, said this makes his new book one of the most popular new business titles. “The book is really taking off and that’s very gratifying,” he said. “I’ve spent most of my business career helping college students and young professionals, and now the book is expanding that effort to thousands more.”
The idea for Career Killers/ Career Builders originated from the most-requested speech he’s given at universities: “The Top 5 Ways to Get Fired and The Top 5 Ways to Keep from Being Fired.”
The book is available in both print and E-book formats on Amazon.com, and at Barnes&Noble.

Rick, thanks for writing about John Crossman’s book. Such practical wisdom. Very simple incites, but it’s the stuff that destroys people’s careers (and lives) every day!
I just ordered my second copy so that my high school boys could each have their own copy to read this summer. I also just watched a lecture that John Crossman gave at the University of Florida that was the catalyst for the book. You can see it here: https://youtu.be/qknXgDpr0mY
I ordered my first copy on Amazon and my second copy on Walmart.com
