Women’s Executive Council Receives Grant

The Women’s Executive Council received a grant of $5,500 from Wells Fargo Foundation. Valerie McDonald presented the grant on behalf of the Foundation. “Wells Fargo is proud to support organizations like the Women’s Executive Council,” said McDonald. “I am personally delighted to be part of a financial institution that is passionate about empowering women and uplifting our communities.” President of WEC, Bobbi Govanus, said, “Women’s Executive Council is so very grateful to Wells Fargo for their sponsorship of the WEC mission of educating women attending university in Central Florida. Wells Fargo joins with us and continues to empower women to lead change and innovation by their generous support.”
WEC is using the grant to fund college scholarships to Central Florida women through the 501(c)3 Women’s Executive Council’s Scholarship & Endowment Fund, Inc.
